Online Registration System

The volunteer-based Burnsville Athletic Club (BAC) located in Burnsville, MN (pop. 60,306) helps to provide year-round recreational activities for thousands of community children.

Various online registration systems had been tried over the course of several years, but none quite met the unique requirements of each individual sporting group while simultaneously achieving the desired goal of utilizing a single/simplified registration system for all sports.

NowData created a web-enabled registration system now used to securely process thousands of error-free registrations.

Past online registration systems consisted of multiple forms and sometimes confusing steps taking far too much time to complete. Now, the entire registration process consists of filling out a single-page form that includes a credit card submission feature at the bottom of each form.

One bank account for all sports.

One of the distinct advantages of the consolidated online registration system is the ability to collect funds for immediate deposit into the BAC's bank account. "In Person" registration events have been scaled back or in some cases, completely eliminated. Program volunteers are no longer responsible for handling cash or personal checks making the entire process trouble free.

Email confirmation.

After an on-line registration has been successfully completed, an email message containing the payment receipt is sent to the registrant. Another email message is simultaneously forwarded to the designated sport coordinator(s) containing all necessary registration information.

Coordinator Information, on demand.

All registration information is saved to a centralized/secure database. Using a web browser, designated administrative users can login and download all of a season's collected registration information in Excel format with the click of a single button.
